Email & SMS Donation Requests
You can now send individual or bulk donation requests to your established supporter base using email or SMS. When using email, you can add your own PDFs to provide information to the individual regarding the background to the fundraising and explaining the request for a donation.
Email donation requests are free to send. There is a charge for each SMS donation request.
Individual Donation Requests
In order to send individual donation requests:
Select
DONATION REQUESTS
from theTAKING PAYMENTS > AUTHENTICATED
menu.

This will take you to your list of supporters. Simply click on
ADD SUPPORTER
and add the details. You have the option to capture their email address, mobile phone number or both.

Click
ADD USER
once you are happy that the details are complete.You will then see your Supporter details in your list of supporters and you have the option to
EDIT
orDELETE
this Supporter’s details at any time.Once you have the supporter details on the system, simply click on
TAKE A PAYMENT
to make a personal contact.

Complete the Description of cause, select one of your Causes to reference the donation to the correct fund.
Highlight (or enter) a specific donation amount to encourage that amount to be donated. (The donor will be able to change this on the payment page). Leave blank to allow the donor to choose their own amount.
The default sending method will be email so you can optionally upload a PDF document to provide more information on your cause and fundraising activity. You have the option to send by SMS – simply click on
SEND BY SMS
and the button will turn green. Click onSEND BY EMAIL
if you only want to send by SMS and theSEND BY EMAIL
button will turn red.Finally, confirm that you have a lawful basis to contact the Supporter and press ‘SEND’ to complete the donation request.
To view the status of your Donation Requests select
DONATION REQUEST LOG
from theTRANSACTIONS
menu.

Bulk Donation Requests
In order to send bulk donation requests:
Select
BULK DONATION REQUEST
from theTAKING PAYMENTS > AUTHENTICATED
menu.

This will take you to your list of supporter file uploads. Simply click on
UPLOAD NEW SUPPORTER FILE
to upload multiple supporter details.You have the option to capture their email address, mobile phone number or both but you must specify whether you plan to send donation requests by Email or SMS. The default shown in green is email. To switch to SMS, click on SMS and the button will go green.
Instructions are provided but the quickest way to create a valid file is to download the sample CSV files supplied and replace the sample data with your supporter data. Each file can contain up to 200 supporter details.

Click
UPLOAD & CONTINUE
once you are happy that the CSV file details are complete and correct. The system will import the file and validate that an email address is present if you have chosen to send the file by Email, and that a mobile number is present is you have chosen to send the file by SMS.

You will then see your list of Supporter details from your CSV file and you still have the option to
EDIT
orDELETE
individual Supporter’s details at any time.Once you have the supporter details on the system, simply click on
SEND DONATION REQUEST
to make personal contacts.

Finally, confirm that you have a lawful basis to contact the Supporter list and press
SEND
to complete the bulk donation request.To view the status of your Donation Requests select
DONATION REQUEST LOG
from theTRANSACTIONS
menu

You will be able to view the Paid/Unpaid status of each donation request and have the option to resend the donation request to your support up to 2 times before expiry.
Donation requests will expire automatically after 90 days.
