Campaign (cause) Management

If you want all donations to consolidate into a single central fund, there is no requirement to set up additional causes.

Optionally, you can set up multiple causes to reflect a range of different funds that you would like your supporters to donate to. This function is available to all customers and is particularly ideal for larger Charities and organisations that would like to identify and separate out donation amounts.

Example uses include:

  • multiple locations

  • multiple fundraising events or appeals

  • to separate activities (e.g. Roof repair fund, Festival fund, general offertory etc.),

The system also allows you to identify those individual causes which are Gift Aid eligible.

When you set up multiple causes you have the option to prioritise up to 5 causes which you would like to highlight on your default donation page. You have the option to upload an image to represent the individual causes and this will be used when the cause is chosen as a priority cause.

Priority causes and priority cause order can be amended at any time.

To manage your causes

  1. Click on the submenu Cause Management under the My Account function in the Portal.

  1. You can add causes individually or in bulk and you can edit or delete them at any time.
