Please see our top tips for using the Payter contactless donation device.

• If using a portable device, please ensure you charge your device overnight (whilst switched off) so it's ready to collect donations the next day. Make sure the green light is showing next to the charging port indicating a full charge.

• Consider investing in a power-bank to maximise the amount of time you can spend fundraising.

• If you process transactions in a no/low signal area these will process offline, please ensure you upload any stored donations by the end of the day in an area where mobile signal (3G) data is strong. You ideally need a minimum of 2-3 bars of signal on screen.

• If you have moved your device to an area with improved signal to upload any stored transactions, please switch your device off and on. This will help reboot the mobile signal in its new location.

• Use a LAN connection to upload stored donations if the mobile signal is weak.
