Deferred Authorisations

If you are trying to complete a transaction with no internet connection, the device may ask if the transaction should be deferred.

Selecting YES will store the transaction on the terminal until the transactions are then submitted with an internet connection. Selecting NO will decline the transaction.

If you use deferred authorisations you acknowledge and accept the risk of failed/declined transactions. We would strongly recommend moving the terminal into a location with good signal or Wi-Fi availability and submitting the sales by the end of the day or within 24 hours of the transaction being deferred to maximise the rate of approval.
